A tour that takes us to Taiaroa Heads and out to the nesting colony of the Royal albatross then beyond into the ocean home of the albatross.
We promise the best experience for all ages to see up close, a wide variety of sea birds including many albatross species.

Discover Dunedins Wild Side
Hop aboard for a 2-hour harbour adventure and meet our cheeky local sea birds up close. From Shags to Albatross, its a unforgettable tour guided by locals who know these waters best.
Our scheduled sea birds’ tours can be booked from October to March, departing Deborah Bay at 11:00AM, with optional pick-ups at Weller’s Rock at 11:30am on the east side of the harbour. Trips last around 2–2.5 hours, giving you plenty of time to soak up the scenery and spot amazing wildlife.
With only 10 spaces available per trip, we highly recommend booking ahead to secure your spot.
Casual guests from Deborah Bay or Wellers Rock are welcome if space allows—just give us a call on 0274-346693 to check availability.
